The Branford Festival Cover Contest
1. Submit your local sunrise or sunset image of Branford in its glory and your image could be selected as the cover of our 2020 Branford Festival Guide! This contest is open to anyone living or working in Branford. The photo must be taken somewhere in town, identifiable as Branford in some way. No identifiable people should be included in the photo. No business signs or logos should be visible. Entries not chosen for the cover may be used in the interior pages of the section with proper photo credit given at all times.
2. By entering the contest you signify that you have read and agree to abide by the 2020 Branford Festival Cover Contest rules.
3. You may submit up to four (4) entries but each photo must be submitted as a new entry.
4. All entries will be entered into the Branford Festival Committee's choice for the cover and feature print. Note that prints will be made and available for sale at the Branford Festival with all proceeds going to the Branford Festival.
5. No purchase necessary.
6. Submission runs through 11:59pm on 4/1/20.
7. Open to legal residents of Connecticut who live or work in Branford. Entrants younger than 18 years of age must have parental authorization.
8. Once the photo is submitted, the entrant is authorizing its possible use as the 2020 Branford Festival Print. Proper photo credit will be given to the entrant/photographer, and the Branford Festival Guide will include a biography of the entrant chosen. Entries not chosen for the cover may be used within the 2020 Branford Festival Guide with proper photo credit given at all times. If a photo is published, the Branford Festival then reserves the right to use those photos in future Branford Festival products giving proper photo credit at all times, and images not used in the 2020 Branford Festival Guide may be used for other Festival products with permission from the photographer. There is no prize money associated with this contest.

Eligibility:
Subject to the additional restrictions below, The Branford Festival Photo Contest (The "Contest") is open to legal residents of Connecticut who live and/or work in Branford.
All winners must be at least 18 years or older at the time of entry or have permission from a parent or guardian.
The Branford Festival Committee nor Shore Publishing will not be
responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected entries or for the failure
to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any
kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or
software, whether originating with sender or sponsors. In the event of a
dispute, all online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner
of the email/ISP account from which they were sent. For these purposes, an ISP
account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such ISP account by
the Internet access provider online service provider or other organization
responsible for assigning ISP addresses for the domain associated with such ISP
account. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted, number of
votes submitted or the owner of an email address or ISP account shall be
determined by Shore Publishing, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to
disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing
any aspect of the contest. In the event an ISP address becomes suspect due to
excessive accounts (a maximum of 4) and/or votes submission, the ISP address
will be deemed fraudulent and the votes and entry submitted from that address
will be banned. Entries become property of sponsors and none will be
returned.
Participation:
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official
Rules and the decisions of the Branford Festival Committee which shall be final
in all respects. Shore Publishing reserves the right to disqualify persons
found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this contest. In the
event the contest is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention,
tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Shore Publishing
which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper
operation of the contest, Shore Publishing reserves the right in its sole
discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the contest. Should the contest be
terminated prior to the stated expiration date, the Branford Festival Committee
reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination
date.
Shore Publishing may co-sponsor some contests on our site with
other companies. If you enter one of these contests, our co-sponsor may receive
the information collected. Likewise, and notwithstanding anything in Shore
Publishing’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use Agreement to the contrary, all
persons who enter this contest (regardless of whether you are the winning
contestant) hereby consent to Shore Publishing providing your emails and/or
correspondence collected by the Shore Publishing in connection with your entry into this
contest, including without limitation your email address, to any of its
co-sponsors for such co-sponsor’s use. If you wish to unsubscribe to the
co-sponsor’s email correspondence lists, you agree that you will contact such
co-sponsor directly and request to be unsubscribed.
Construction:
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these
rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.
In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise
unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as
if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
